Arrrgh you down with freedom?
Any 3rd party running candidates directly is going to struggle. The problem is by voting for someone in a 3rd party that is very unlikely to win (because they are a 3rd party), they are not supporting whichever one of the two major parties they more agree with. If you want to be successful you must work within the 2 biggest parties (democrat/republicans). Survey the primary candidates that are running and find out which one more supports your goals. Recruit candidates to run in the primaries of the 2 major parties with your support. Ask them questions at the town hall meetings, about these subjects and see which one answers “better” (not perfect just better than the others running). And then throw your support money and time and endorsement behind that candidate. Even if that candidate loses, the next time the election comes around, they will be asking you for your support. The big question is if you should align yourself with one of the major parties or not. If you do, then you will have a lot more support from that party. Look at the tea party movement and how it has changed the republican party by aligning itself with that party. The other side of the coin is that there are a lot of people in both parties that I think would support this movement at least parts. Once you become big and have enough money, then you can think about a direct 3rd party run against both the major 2 parties. But trying to do that too early will just make people angry at you.

so you declare a war and vanish? Meet me in ziona and we"ll finish this.
